The
Catering Executives Club Annual Season is from September to
June, and includes seven monthly meetings, the Holiday Ball,
the Spring Scholarship Ball, and the Summer Outing. Each monthly
meeting is hosted by a different venue throughout the Chicago-land
area, offering diverse and exciting events for the membership.
There are three special events each year. The Holiday Ball
is the memberships’ opportunity to celebrate the winter
holidays together, taking a break from the “hustle and
bustle” of our individual properties during the holiday
season. The Spring Scholarship Ball offers vendors who cater
to the members of the CEC to join us in raising funds for the
annual scholarships given to aspiring young catering executives.
The Summer Outing, the closing event of the CEC season, is
an opportunity for the membership to take a day off and relax
with their friends and peers of the CEC. Often held at a country
club, the summer outing provides golf to the athletic and lounging
by the pool to the sun-lovers.
